Senior GCP DevOps Engineer - REMOTE

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior GCP Dev Ops Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your expertise in containerization and serverless architectures will significantly contribute to enhancing our partner's cloud capabilities. You will be responsible for full lifecycle automation, ensuring high availability and performance of cloud services, while driving innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure management.

• Design and deploy applications using core GCP services, including Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Manage and optimize data persistence and analysis using Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Big Query.
• Develop and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager within a Git Ops framework.
• Build and maintain multi-stage CI/CD pipelines in Git Lab, utilizing Git Lab Runners and Docker containers.
• Implement security best practices using Identity and Access Management (IAM) and manage sensitive information with Secret Manager.
• Securely configure and automate the connection between Git Lab CI/CD and GCP resources.

• 10+ years of IT Infrastructure related experience.
• Fluent in English.
• GCP Dev Ops experience and strong understanding of GCP cloud infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with hands‑on experience in GCP services like App Engine and Compute Engine.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
• Professional certification in Google Cloud Platform is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
