We’re seeking someone to join our Credit Risk - Data Infrastructure team as a Senior Data Engineering Specialist in Risk Tech to plan, design and contribute towards database development (Data Warehousing, ETL etc.) and engineering activities.

• Support infrastructure related upgrades involving database and other environments.
• Develop and support Data Ingestion Framework (using Spark, Python scripting, Databricks, Snowpipe, etc.).
• Implement Dev Ops techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code using tools like Git.

• 7+ years of working experience in Data Warehousing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (data modelling, data transformations)
• Strong skills in Relational Databases and writing complex SQL
• Good programming skills with any programming language (Python preferred)
• Good understanding of Unix shell scripting
• Knowledge about Dev Ops implementation in Data space
• Hands on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills

All positions are located in Montreal, Quebec. We offer a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and attendance in the office. Knowledge of French and English is required.
