The core mission of the Billing Associate:As a Billing Associate at Hack The Box, your core mission is to ensure a seamless, accurate, and transparent billing experience for our global community of players. You will act as the bridge between our customers and internal teams, resolving billing-related inquiries with speed, empathy, and precision, so our users can stay focused on hacking, learning, and leveling up.
What success looks like? Billing issues are resolved quickly, accurately & processes are continuously improved through your feedback and insights.
Location & Work Mode:- Fully Remote / Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote, plus one month of work from anywhere) - If only in Greece:
When hiring in Greece, we’re open to candidates from all locations. Those based within 55 km of our Athens office will follow a hybrid work model. For candidates located beyond that radius, a fully remote arrangement is available.
Billing Associate will be part of the wider Customer Support team, working closely with colleagues across the globe. They will be working closely with Marketing, Community, Customer Support etc. They will be able to capitalise on their communication and organisational skills.

- Receive and handle billing-related issues and queries from customers, primarily in a B2C environment
- Investigate and resolve billing incidents by reviewing and analyzing data across multiple internal systems
- Coordinate with internal teams by sharing incident details and requesting necessary actions
- Track billing issues and incidents, following up as needed until full resolution is achieved
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage customer complaints with a polite, empathetic, and customer-focused approach
- Previous experience in customer support, billing, or customer service within an international environment
- Strong written English skills, with the ability to clearly explain billing-related information
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical and methodical approach to resolving billing inquiries and discrepancies
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused tone
- Empathy and a customer-centric mindset when addressing billing questions or concerns
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with finance, support, and operations teams
