You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy backend systems in Azure while contributing to modernization efforts and long-term platform stability.
Responsibilities- Migrate and modernize legacy applications into a modern .NET environment
- Design and build backend services and APIs supporting enterprise B2B software
- Work with No
SQL databases and cloud-native Azure services - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Support Windows-based integrations, including Windows APIs
- Tech Breakdown: 20% maintenance, 80% new development
- Strong experience with C# and modern .NET 6+
- Experience building backend services and APIs
- Experience working with C++ and Windows applications
- Hands-on experience with No
SQL databases - Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working on B2B software products for large enterprise customers
- Understanding of Windows-based systems and APIs
- Experience migrating desktop applications to modern web-based architectures
- Exposure to legacy system modernization initiatives
- Prior experience in platform or infrastructure-focused products

- Candidates local to Chicago require 2 days onsite
- 100% remote for the right candidate
- $120-160K base
