The role

We’re looking for a hands-on technical co-founder/CTO to own the build and scale of Centric Ai.

This isn’t a “come build my idea” situation. We’re an operator founder from the trenches of courier ops — we own GTM, pilots, courier network, ops, and customer workflows. You’ll own product engineering, architecture, and shipping the MVP into real usage.

• Dispatcher console (web): job creation, live map view, assignment, exception handling, SLA tracking
• Driver web app: accept/complete jobs, live tracking, status updates, POD (photo/signature + time/location)
• Core dispatch logic: assignment rules/scoring, SLA prioritisation, capacity handling
• ETAs that don’t lie: live re-forecasting using routing signals + driver location
• Comms hooks: customer notifications (SMS/Whats App/email) + internal ops alerts
• Basic analytics: on-time %, pickup/delivery ETA accuracy, courier performance signals

• Own architecture + delivery velocity (MVP → v1 → scale)
• Build with reliability + observability (logging, metrics, audit trail)
• Integrate mapping/routing + messaging providers
• Establish security basics (auth, permissions, data handling)
• Work tightly with the CEO to turn ops reality into product decisions fast

• Strong full-stack ability (frontend + backend + database)
• Comfortable shipping scrappy but solid MVPs quickly
• Experience with real-time location/tracking or event-driven systems is a big plus
• Good product instincts: you care about UX, edge cases, and operational workflows
• Calm under pressure, direct communicator, builder mentality

• Routing/optimisation, ETA modelling, geofencing, fleet/dispatch tooling exposure
• Map APIs (Google/Mapbox), background jobs/queues, websockets
• Payments/invoicing, multi-tenant SaaS experience
• Familiarity with courier ops / gig workforce tooling

We’re not religious about stack — we care about shipping. Typical fit:
Next.js/React + Node or Python + Postgres (Supabase ok) + hosted infra. We’ll choose what gets us to pilots fastest.

• Co-founder equity (meaningful ownership; structure depends on commitment + contribution)
• Real-world problem, real feedback loop, fast iteration (no “build for months in a cave”)
• Operator founder who brings: courier network, pilot outreach, workflows, SLA reality, sales hustle
• A product with clear wedge: predictability + control beats “fast” when customers are fed up

We’re ops-heavy and engineering-light. The gap is build ownership and shipping velocity.
