• Administer DB2 databases and subsystems, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Monitor storage, support capacity planning, and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Provide status reports as required and log activity using time tracking software
• Document changes and follow established protocols while supporting IT teams
• Manage, monitor, and tune DB2 subsystems and application environments

• Minimum of seven (7) years of DB2 DBA experience on the Z/OS platform
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience administering complex DB2 environments with multiple subsystems
• Proficiency in ZOS tools and utilities (e.g., TSO, ISPF, JCL)
• Strong communication, documentation, and user requirement gathering skills

• Experience installing and configuring DB2 Connect
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management tools like LCM, CHANGEMAN, or similar
• Experience with data modeler tools like ERWIN or similar
