Remote MongoDB Database Administrator

DB Database Administrator. In this role, you will support enterprise databases ensuring high availability through proactive measures such as monitoring and health checks. You will be responsible for incident resolution, root cause analysis, and the automation of routine tasks, which will improve system reliability. Collaboration with various application and product support teams will be crucial for achieving seamless operational performance. Your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining optimal database health and performance.

• Support enterprise databases and ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and health checks.
• Resolve incidents under Incident Management and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
• Automate routine tasks and improve monitoring and alerting systems.
• Perform changes under Change Management protocols.
• Collaborate with client application teams and various infrastructure support teams.

• 10+ years of experience in installation, configuration, and provisioning of Mongo
  
  DB clusters in Linux 8 or higher.
• Knowledge of shell scripting.
• Experience in troubleshooting, performance enhancements, and resolving latency or capacity issues.
• Strong experience in sharding and replication.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Git Hub, Unix shell scripting, Python, Splunk, ELK, or Grafana is a plus.
• Experience with major and cross-platform migrations to Mongo
  
  DB.
