** remote technical support representative**, which we call a
** remote service agent,
** to join our team of technology experts who install, fix, solve, and enhance technology products via phone and chat for clients across Canada! Join us at
** Geek Squad** (the technical service organization of Best Buy Canada). We are looking for people just like you, to provide technical support to our clients. As a
** remote service agent**, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while supporting our 24/7/365 business. Here’s what you can expect:
* Work up 24 hours per week over a maximum of 5 shifts
* Shifts are up to 8.5 hours, with varying start and end times
* Flexibility as business needs may fluctuate week to week As a
** remote technical support representative,
** you will create an amazing customer experience by:
* Performing product repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, and other services using remote desktop software
* Providing tutorials to clients on the proper use of their products
* Identifying and recommending solutions based on customers’ needs
* Completing training to continuously improve the client experience
** What we are looking for:
*** 1+ years of help desk or technical call centre experience
* Experience in troubleshooting and/or repairing devices
* Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
* Verbal and written proficiency in English
* Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required
** Your home office comes equipped with:
*** Computer with monitor, speakers, and anti-virus software.

** B.C. hourly pay rate: $18.85 - $19.85P.E.I. hourly pay rate: $17.25 - $18

Ontario hourly pay rate: $19.35 - $19.50
