Location:

Job type:
Marketing

We are looking for a Senior SEO manager with a minimum of seven years’ experience in leading and managing SEO campaigns from start to finish, as well as line managing other members of the team. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in successfully delivering positive ROI for their clients (or company) in terms of ranking improvements, organic traffic increases and conversion / sales increases.

This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate must be self-motivated, willing and capable of solely managing SEO retainers, but they will also have the support of other SEO team members to delegate specific tasks. This role requires a passion for content within SEO (for example: on-page, blogs, campaigns and off-page content opportunities) as well as a demonstration of technical SEO skills.

Adido has an array of clients in many different industries (but predominantly travel) who are using many different types of CMS’s and technologies. This variety keeps things exciting and offers new perspectives and opportunities, but it also means that the role requires someone who is capable of adapting and tuning in to both the differences and similarities to maximise performance.

The successful candidate must be:

  • able to demonstrate success at creating, presenting and implementing SEO strategies that deliver commercial results
  • open to working across multiple industries and technology platforms
  • willing to quickly adapt and learn new areas and apply this knowledge in the best way possible
  • obsessed with SEO, sharing their passion for the specialism with conviction and confidence

Currently our SEO team is small, but mighty. We have ambitions to grow with the right team in place, and as a senior member of the team this position offers a fantastic opportunity to influence this in the future, and be a mentor to others.

The role sits within a dedicated SEO team but it is also part of our wider marketing team which offers PPC, paid social and analytics services. There are also opportunities to work with our creative team on web projects, whereby SEO web migration tasks are paramount to ensuring a smooth transition, and great technical SEO foundations are championed for new websites.

This is a superb opportunity for someone who is willing to teach, learn from and work within a wider marketing team where the chance to hone and develop their SEO skills and progress is encouraged, and where collaborating with other channels is essential to delivering success for our clients.

It is a client-facing role where the day-to-day is focused on leading, planning and executing SEO strategies for clients, as well as liaising with both clients and other members of the agency with passion, enthusiasm and confidence.

What's involved?

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for SEO strategies & processes for Adido’s portfolio of clients - putting the client’s objectives at the heart of everything
  • Forecasting SEO performance, and devising the right strategy needed to achieve it based on thorough research and evaluation of the opportunities
  • Planning the monthly schedule of work for assigned client retainers, and briefing other members of the team accordingly
  • Preparing SEO content briefs and/or writing content pieces
  • Carrying out technical SEO audits and following up with recommendations to resolve problems or improve (as part of retainers or web projects)
  • Leading outreach campaigns that result in backlinks to clients' websites (preferred but not essential)
  • Signing off on all SEO work before it goes to the client for approval / upload, ensuring a high standard of output and professionalism
  • Leading, mentoring and inspiring other SEO team members in SEO principles to deliver commercial success
  • Educating our clients and our team on the latest happenings in the world of SEO and the impact it might have on performance now, and in the future
  • Championing SEO within the agency and demonstrate how it impacts the wider digital marketing mix
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends regarding SEO and be willing to…
