Data Migration Test Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Migration Test Engineer to support ongoing data migration and transformation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across source and target systems.

You will work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth and error-free data migrations. This role requires hands‑on experience in SQL‑based data validation, ETL testing, and data reconciliation processes.

Key responsibilities include designing and executing migration test strategies, validating transformation logic, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing or QA
• Proven experience in data migration or ETL testing

• Understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience using defect tracking tools (Zoho Projects, Jira, or similar)

• Experience with ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python is an advantage)
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
