IT Consultant, Systems Analyst

Summary: Provides a high level of technical support (development, testing, integration and implementation) of applications and interfaces which deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system. Performs project management, requirements definitions, systems design, analysis, code development, problem resolution and vendor coordination.
The responsibilities of this role will focus primarily on supporting our surgical services operational teams using Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows, providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality, and troubleshooting issues effectively. Crucial to the position is the ability to work collaboratively with their team to optimize workflows and tools, adhering to our guiding principles and governing structure. This role will be responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing new functionality as well as enhancing current build, contributing to meaningful innovations in surgical services workflows.
You will be expected to become an expert in Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows.
You will be expected to take call on a rotation and respond to requests effectively, updating your team/manager on issues that require escalation. While this position is remote working, you will be expected to go onsite across the state for go-lives and required meetings. An Epic certification in OpTime and/or Anesthesia will be a minimum requirement.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of surgical services workflows, basic Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia knowledge, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn in an ever-expanding field.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- If a Bachelor's degree:
Four (4) years of experience with IT systems and/or related operational experience. - If an Associate's degree:
Six (6) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience. - If a High School diploma or GED:
Eight (8) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
