Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Are you eager to work on innovative data solutions that shape the future of mortgage services in Europe? As a Business Analyst within our Data & Analytics team, you are at the heart of Stater's creation of insights, analytics, data deliveries, financial reports, pools, data quality controls and data catalogs.
As a Business Analyst, you advise both internal and external clients on the use of existing or new data products. You translate functional questions and business requirements into concrete solutions by defining functional requirements and improving processes and systems within the Data & Analytics domain, a critical and complex area that is one of the crown jewels of Stater. You'll work in an enthusiastic Scrum team of developers delivering products in sprints.
We are looking for a Business Analyst with an Agile and data-driven mindset. In this diverse role, you easily connect with all stakeholders (operations, business representatives, and clients) and serve as their primary content expert. You organize sessions, work closely with the Product Owner, and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives. You are proactive in proposing new ideas, adding value to products, and optimizing solutions.
You are a driven and critical professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and working with clients. You thrive in financial services and data. Analysis and quick thinking are your key qualities. Your work will consist of:
Responsibilities- Defining functional requirements and data modeling
- Translating functional questions into concrete process and data solutions
- Data analysis from source to end product
- Supporting the team's Agile way of working
- Understanding and helping to shape the current and future technical architecture
- Validating whether implemented solutions meet functional requirements
- Keeping up to date with current and emerging technologies
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in IT or a related field
- Several years of experience with data analysis and functional design
- Several years of experience with data warehouse or data lake concepts
- Several years of experience in stakeholder management
- Several years of hands-on experience with SQL;
Python is a plus - Thorough knowledge of the financial market
- Experience in aligning business processes with IT systems
- Knowledge of data architecture; BI knowledge is a plus
- Experience with requirement analysis, data modeling, and design techniques
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus
- Experience with BI tooling is a plus
- Familiarity with data assurance is a plus
- Driven to achieve goals, a team player, and well‑organized
