Power BI Report Developer

Power BI Report Developer required in Johannesburg.

PBT Group is seeking a strong Report Developer to join a high-performance delivery environment. This role requires a hands-on, technically solid professional who can quickly integrate into the team and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining business intelligence reports and data solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI, SQL, and ETL processes.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a reporting / BI development role
• Proven Power BI report development experience
• Strong SQL skills (query writing, optimisation, data analysis)
• Strong ETL / data integration skills
• Experience working within Financial Services or Insurance environments

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Develop and optimise SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
• Build and maintain ETL processes supporting reporting requirements
• Work closely with business stakeholders and data teams
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting performance
• Support ongoing enhancements and reporting improvements

Important Work Arrangement

• This is a 100% full-time onsite role based in Parktown, Johannesburg.
• This is not a hybrid or remote position
