What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist clients in configuring Lucidworks Fusion and address their technical queries
- Troubleshoot complex search issues related to Lucene/Solr
- Document solutions in knowledge base articles for customer reference
- Identify opportunities for additional customer value through follow-on products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve critical issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Search technologies such as Apache Lucene/Solr
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a customer-facing level 2-3 tech support role
- Proficiency with Java and one or more common scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.) and Kubernetes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BS or higher in Engineering or Computer Science

- Experience with technical support CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.)
- Exposure to related open-source projects (Mahout, Hadoop, Tika, etc.) and commercial search technologies
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts
- Experience working in a startup or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment
