Data Analyst

We are looking for a Tableau Analyst to support data-driven decision making across the business. You will build and maintain dashboards used by Commercial and Operational teams, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise Tableau dashboards for:
• - Betting turnover, revenue, margin
• - Customer behaviour and segmentation
• - Promotions and marketing performance
• - Trading and risk metrics
• Work with stakeholders (Commercial, Operations, Finance) to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualisations.
• Digital analytics – review mobile app and website performance, conversion rates/engagement metrics (Raceday Ready)
• Perform deep dives into specific areas of the business.
• Monitor data quality issues and help resolve them.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests

Essential

• Relevant experience in a data analyst / BI analyst role
• Strong hands‑on experience with Tableau Desktop
• Good SQL skills (joins, aggregations)
• Experience working with large datasets
• Strong data visualisation and storytelling skills
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with in and a passion for the industry.
• Numeric or analytical degree.
• Familiarity with betting concepts such as stakes, margin and knowledge of pool betting.

• A reliable team member with an excellent understanding of data and database infrastructure.
• A technical and analytical skillset to deliver against a fast‑moving backlog of priorities.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with aptitude for problem solving.
• Based in Liverpool office. Hybrid working may be possible, combining days working from home with days in the office.
