The Global Information Security team drives the development, deployment and management of information and cyber security across the Computershare businesses, globally. Through partnerships with business units, Technology Services and other support functions, the team actively supports business objectives while reducing overall composite risk.

About

the Role

The Information Security Officer provides technical and non‑technical consultancy, architecture and project services to the Computershare business units and Computershare Technology Services (CTS) within the region. You will support the Regional CISOs and Global CISO in developing and executing the Information Security Consultancy programme, oversee a portfolio of security services, and ensure alignment with the Global Information Security Group operating model.

You will contribute to regional and global projects and initiatives, manage vendor relationships, evaluate product usefulness and cost, and recommend solutions to support enterprise security architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic and tactical information security risk management experience.
  • Delivering technical and non‑technical consultative support to regional business units and technology teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advising stakeholders on security considerations in technology projects, ensuring alignment with SDLC processes.
  • Maintaining a forward‑looking perspective on emerging security threats and technologies.
  • Working with the Global Information Security team to deliver and interpret network penetration tests, vulnerability scans, patch and compliance assessments, support incident investigations and governance.
  • Attending regular meetings and providing verbal and written reports.
  • Answering client contractual questions, RFIs/RFPs and client vendor assessments regarding information security topics.
What You’ll Bring

You are a self‑starter who can prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks under pressure with limited supervision. You have experience in information security or a related technical IT function, either as an end‑user or consultant. You work independently, consult when needed and possess strong organizational and planning skills.

You understand and can explain the connection between data protection regulations such as Swiss Banking Secrecy Obligation, GDPR and information security risk management. You will engage and influence internal stakeholders in all areas of technical and non‑technical security, and adapt to flexible working models and occasional travel.

Required Skills
  • Professional information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC or similar) with knowledge of OWASP, NIST, and ISO
    27000 principles.
  • Confident communication with management and technical staff, framing security as a business enabler.
  • Experience acting as the single point of contact for all internal stakeholders on information security topics.
