The Senior Associate, Online Distribution accelerates BMO ETF penetration through BMO Investor Line, Advice Direct, champions Smartfolio Pro to the DIY investor segment. You will partner closely with enterprise marketing for integrated go-to-market planning, oversee cross-channel campaigns (paid media, influencer activations, content marketing), collaborating with retail leadership, compliance, and platform teams to drive awareness, adoption, and measurable growth of GAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with BMO Investor Line to deepen on-platform BMO ETF penetration—identify shelf opportunities, training, feature placements, and programmatic moments that increase discovery and conversion.
  • Support Smart Folio Pro strategy for DIY investors, including collaboration across marketing, and compliance to ensure audience-appropriate messaging and compliant execution.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing to develop integrated marketing planning for Smart Folio Pro and related GAM initiatives, ensuring alignment with acquisition targets and lifecycle objectives.
  • Partner with Retail leadership to design and execute branch enablement strategies for Smart Folio Pro and GAM products—lead branch skills training sessions, toolkits, and roadshows.
  • Ensure retail, Investor Line and Advice Direct training assets, scripts, and FAQs are current and compliant; measure field readiness and activation health.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to build and manage influencer relationships that amplify GAM’s digital investing solutions across Tik Tok, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, and Reddit.
  • Stand up dashboards and reporting routines—adoption/penetration, conversion, CPA, ROAS, content engagement, and branch activation metrics.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years in digital investing, or wealth management, with hands-on experience in partner engagement and integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms, and retail distribution strategies.
  • Exceptional project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with financial-services compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner management across platform, product, retail, and compliance.
  • Clear, concise writing and executive-ready communication.
  • 10% ad-hoc travel requirement

  • Adoption of BMO ETFs and growth of GAM folios on Smartfolio Pro
  • Retail rollout delivered with measurable branch enablement and in-branch activation.

    Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
