Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) AWS (m/f/d)

As a Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) you ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our AWS platform. You continuously evolve our cloud infrastructure and enable development teams to deploy secure, automated, and stable applications.

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Reliability

• Design, implement, and operate highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
• Apply best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization
• Conduct performance testing, capacity planning, and system tuning for AWS services

Automation, CI/CD & Developer Enablement

• Establish and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Collaborate closely with development teams to build reliability and observability into applications
• Automate testing and deployment pipelines using Git Hub Actions
• Drive continuous automation and improvement within SRE operations

Monitoring, Incident Management & Operations

• Monitor system performance and stability
• Troubleshoot complex systems and implement sustainable incident resolutions
• Participate in an on-call rotation (24/7 support)
• Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards

Experience & Domain Focus

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an SRE with a strong focus on AWS and cloud infrastructure
• In-depth understanding of AWS services and cloud networking

Technical / Methodological Skills

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Solid knowledge of Git and hands-on experience with Git Hub Actions
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Deep understanding of security principles in cloud environments
