Senior PHP Developer Hybrid Remote

Ada Meher are currently working with a client in Doncaster as they recruit a Senior PHP Developer to join their Innovations Team working on Proof of Concepts and AI-enablement. This team is responsible for seeking out opportunities across the business to implement new technology to optimise operations and delivery. You’ll join colleagues from multiple disciplines, such as data analytics and operations, and be responsible for building out PoC and resulting project work.

The wider project delivery development teams use a PHP/Laravel/Vue stack, so the successful candidate will have skills in this area. There is also an appetite for creativity and exploring emerging technologies and AI enablement, so the candidate should have curiosity to look at technologies outside of this core stack.

Location:

Doncaster with a hybrid model (in-office 1-2 days per week). Given stakeholder engagement, it is likely to be in-office leaning; candidates should be based within a commutable distance of Doncaster and be willing to travel to the office as needed.

• Seek out opportunities across the business to implement new technology to optimise operations and delivery.
• Build out Proof of Concepts (PoC) and resulting project work.
• Collaborate with colleagues from multiple disciplines, such as data analytics and operations.
• Contribute to AI enablement and exploring new technologies beyond the core stack.

• Strong experience in PHP/Laravel Development
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI enablement
• Experience with software optimisations and performance tuning
• Any experience with AI/Python would be a benefit
