• As a senior Cloud infrastructure engineer, you will be required to monitor and conduct daily health checkups including disk space and SSM agent status.
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure monitoring through AWS Cloud Watch and Dynatrace.
• Perform production instance EBS (Elastic Block Store) snapshots.
• Monitor Subversion Code Repository.
• Investigate alerts sent by the monitoring application (e.g., Cloud Watch) for system outages.
• Configure Cloud Watch monitoring to automatically notify the on‑call team in case of critical events.
• Manage VPC flow logs and EC2 logs.
• Manage log bucket access and AWS account access in LZ2.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure service outages and network issues.
• Resize cloud infrastructure as guided by FME.
• Create DNS private hosted zones and request firewall changes.
• Manage AWS account creation and restart containers and EC2 instances.
• Share AMIs and S3 objects between AWS accounts.
• Send service downtime communications over the weekends.
• Request SSL certificates and manage EBS disk size.
• Support application deployment by executing steps from the approved deployment runbook/work instruction.
• Validate backups enabled for EC2 and RDS instances and report.
• Create S3 bucket access policy.
• Install Dynatrace one agent and configure it.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation.
• Install Tri Zetto Facets suite.

• AWS connectivity and integration – 6 years
• Install Tri Zetto Facets suite – 5 years

The annual salary for this position is between Base of 114,000 to 133,500 Annually depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
