Analytics Engineer

As an Analytics Engineer, you combine your technical expertise with a passion for data to create impactful data products. You transform raw data into actionable insights, so we can make smarter business decisions every day.

As an Analytics Engineer, you’re part of the People Analytics & Data team. This full‑stack team includes data engineers, analytics engineers, and analysts, all focused on making HR and recruitment data accessible and insightful. You build and maintain complex data products by transforming raw data into meaningful insights, ensuring consistency and reliability.

You use SQL and data modeling to handle analytics codebases, publish products, and maintain the data catalog. Data governance is your middle name, ensuring data is trustworthy and easy to access across the organization. Beyond building, you actively share knowledge with your colleagues, coaching them on data analytics best practices. Together, you make data‑driven decisions the norm at Coolblue.

• A master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or similar roles.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with hands‑on experience in dbt.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Big Query, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Skilled in data warehousing, pipeline orchestration, and visualization.
• Familiar with visualization tools like Looker.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to different audiences.
