Blockchain Developer – Remote

Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking an experienced  Blockchain Developer  to join our dynamic and innovative remote team in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting blockchain-based solutions that enhance transparency, scalability, and security across digital ecosystems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and blockchain integrations for business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy blockchain applications using platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Polygon.

Build and maintain smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).

Integrate blockchain systems with existing applications and cloud platforms.

Conduct research on new blockchain technologies, tools, and trends to optimize performance and security.

Write efficient, secure, and reusable code following industry best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in blockchain environments.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless implementation.

Participate in peer code reviews, architecture discussions, and project planning.

Required

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience developing blockchain-based applications and smart contracts.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, JavaScript, or Python.

Hands-on experience with blockchain frameworks (Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or Binance Smart Chain).

Understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud services integration.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote team setting.

Experience

Minimum  2–5 years  of professional experience in blockchain development or related software engineering roles.

Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects or DeFi/NFT platforms is a plus.

Working Hours

Flexible working hours with core team collaboration between  9 AM – 5 PM EST .

100%  remote position  – open to candidates based anywhere in Canada.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Deep understanding of decentralized systems and Web3 technologies.

Familiarity with version control (Git/Git Hub) and CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for deliverables.

Continuous learner who stays up-to-date with evolving blockchain ecosystems.

Capacity to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
