Platform Integration Engineer

Position Overview

Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Platform Integration Engineer for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter.

• Integrate a variety of familiar and unfamiliar technologies into orchestrated solutions.
• Analyze gaps in technology solutions and design paths to close them.
• Follow directions provided by the team leaders in implementation and scope.
• Develop and follow installation, integration, and test procedures.
• Automate manual procedures.
• Document procedures in clear and unambiguous manner.
• Demonstrate work to a variety of audiences.
• Participate in and contribute to the team's Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum, Sprint and Program Increment planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Help teammates achieve success in their tasking.
• Review work and provide actionable feedback to teammates.

• BS degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
• Clear communication in the technology domain solutions, design choices, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders verbally or in writing.
• Experience implementing solutions following the principles of RBAC, least-privilege, authentication and authorization, PKI and certificate management, secure networking and containerization, container image scanning.
• 1-3 years minimum experience with each of the following:
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks:
  Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible.
• Procedure automation using scripting technologies like Python, Linux shells, Windows Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their services (e.g., compute, storage, networking), VPC, subnets, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Container technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Open Shift).
• Performance monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
