Senior Azure Integration Developer
About the role:
As a Senior Azure Integration Developer you will design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures while actively supporting the team in delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely to enable integration patterns, streamline workflows, and build event-driven systems. This role requires strong expertise in Azure services, API security, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and innovation, while also contributing to team growth and success.
Inthis role, you will:
- Shape and deliver secure, resilient integration solutions that scale with business needs.
- Bridge on‑premises and cloud environments through modern hybrid integration patterns.
- Drive innovation by building microservices and event‑driven architectures that enhance agility.
- Safeguard systems with Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and robust API security practices.
- Accelerate delivery using CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar automation tools.
- Bring infrastructure to life with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates or Terraform.
- Code primarily in C#, applying best practices to ensure performance and maintainability.

What you need to have to be considered:- Strong experience with Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation and orchestration.
- Expertise in Azure API Management for managing and securing APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Service Bus for enterprise messaging and system decoupling.
- Proficiency with Azure Event Grid for event‑driven architecture.
- Experience with Azure Functions for serverless compute and custom logic.
- Strong knowledge of API security and compliance best practices.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Familiarity with modern Dev Ops practices and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven collaboration skills and a track record of mentoring team members.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
