Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Measurement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead our Ads Measurement organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and intelligence of Reddit’s advertising platform, focusing on privacy-enhancing technologies, probabilistic user matching, and modeled conversions. You will lead end-to-end Ads initiatives across engineering and cross-functional teams, making architectural decisions, mentoring peers, and addressing complex technical challenges.

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture for our company’s identity resolution system.
• Develop and refine ML models for probabilistic user matching.
• Oversee end-to-end ML workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap and set long-term goals.
• Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and data governance guidelines.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on ML-driven systems at scale.
• Experience architecting and building identity resolution, device graphs, or similar identity matching solutions leveraging probabilistic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of various identifiers and their use in identity resolution.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Solid understanding of large-scale data processing, distributed computing, and data infrastructure.
• Proven technical leadership in cross-functional settings.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
