Job Title: Sr. Roku Developer

Work Mode: Remote (Work Time will be as per PST or EST)

Job Description:

The Roku Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Roku applications, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality user experiences. Additional tasks include troubleshooting and debugging applications, and optimizing performance.

• Develop and maintain Roku TV applications using Scene Graph and Brightscript
• Experience with Brightscript is preferred
• Implement UI/UX designs within the Roku TV ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices

• Proficiency in Scene Graph and Brightscript
• Strong understanding of Roku's development environment and tools
• Experience with video streaming technologies and DRM solutions
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience with other streaming platforms and languages
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
