Role Overview:

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining deployment pipelines, ensuring the systems are robust, scalable, and secure. This is a perfect opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in software engineering and a keen interest in transitioning to Dev Ops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Pulumi.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python and Power Shell to automate tasks.
• Configure and manage cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Create and manage configuration files using YAML.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise system reliability and performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Pulumi and Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Power Shell.
• Experience with YAML for configuration management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Previous experience in a Dev Ops or Software Engineering role.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Certification in relevant cloud and Dev Ops technologies (e.g., Azure Certifications).
