We are seeking a Technical Director to join our Solutioning team. As a technical expert who bridges the gap between client needs and Baires Dev’s solutions, you’ll play a critical role in the sales process by engaging with leads and prospects, designing tailored technical solutions, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to secure new business opportunities.
What you’ll do:- Meet with leads and prospects alongside our sales team to understand and translate their requirements into digestible documents, articulating the value proposition of our delivery model.
- Travel to meet leads and attend events to support the sales team, showcasing our solutions and expertise.
- Engage in technical conversations with leads around software development and delivery at the solution level.
- Work closely with presales on generating decks and proposals (teams, projects, roles, RFQs, etc.), estimating and recommending approaches to software delivery focused on composing and sizing teams.
- Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data and Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI.
- Ability to travel +40% within the US.
- 8+ years working in the SDLC building software with teams.
- 5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/solution architect roles;
Manager or Director level desirable. - 5+ years in a specific area or role in the SDLC (language, framework, or technology), building and implementing technology solutions.
- Experience leading teams of software developers or engineers delivering solutions (Cloud, Data, Dev Ops, or Testing).
- Subject‑matter expert knowledge in 1–2 verticals with deep domain experience in at least one (desirable).
- Experience with Cloud/Dev Ops/Infrastructure.
- Must be located in the US.
