Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to join our team and work with one of our esteemed banking clients. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced project manager to lead a high-visibility cloud initiative. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects in dynamic environments. This role involves overseeing multiple projects with interdependencies, ensuring timely delivery within budget and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects with interdependencies in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Collaborate with IT application teams and business functional teams to identify project deliverables, scope, and resource needs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules or ADO boards based on project methodology (Waterfall or Agile).
- Monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring project timelines are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
- Influence and collaborate effectively with Business Owners, Project Managers, and Operations Teams to support delivery, risk mitigation, change management, and issue resolution.
- Schedule and lead recurring internal and customer-facing meetings to review project goals and status.
- Represent team recommendations to senior management, governance bodies, and stakeholders through formal presentations.
- Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Track and report key value metrics to maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs.
- Provide ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management, and issue resolution.
- Lead issue identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution, monitoring risks before they become roadblocks.

- 5+ years of experience managing projects in an IT organization.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- PMI Certification.
- Strong experience managing cloud-based projects, specifically AWS.
- Knowledge of creating and tracking project schedules in Microsoft Project.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience influencing key stakeholders and governance bodies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to guide teams through challenges without subject matter expertise.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to drive projects forward with a proactive mindset.
