About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Marketo & Marketing Automation Manager to own and scale our marketing automation engine. This role is critical to how we generate, nurture, and convert leads across the full B2B customer lifecycle.
You will be the subject-matter expert for a busy role handling both Marketo strategy and execution. You will be responsible for building robust automation programs, aligning closely with sales and global marketing teams. The ideal candidate combines technical depth, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
This is a remote position that can sit anywhere globally.
Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end Marketo instance, including architecture, governance, reporting, and best practices.
- Design, build, and optimize global, regional and target audience specific automation programs: lead nurturing, scoring, routing, lifecycle management, and email campaigns.
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless CRM integration, lead handoff, and pipeline tracking.
- Manage segmentation to improve engagement and conversion.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance (GDPR, consent management, suppression logic).
- Analyze campaign performance and funnel metrics; translate insights into optimization actions.
- Support inbound and outbound programs with scalable automation frameworks.
- Document processes, naming conventions, and automation standards.
- Stay current on Marketo features, best practices, and marketing automation trends.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing automation, with strong hands-on experience in Marketo.
- Proven experience in a B2B SaaS or B2B technology environment.
- Deep understanding of lead management, lifecycle stages, scoring models, and attribution.
- Experience integrating Marketo with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using dashboards and reporting to measure performance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple automation initiatives in parallel.
- Marketo Certification (Associate or Expert).
- Familiarity with additional Mar Tech tools (Outreach, Hub Spot, data enrichment, intent platforms).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email, forms and landing page customization.
- Ownership of a core growth system with real impact on revenue.
