Lead Data Privacy and AI Risk Consultant - remote

In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding the organization on privacy policies and AI risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR. Your expertise will help develop effective strategies to assess and mitigate privacy risks, influencing the overall data protection culture.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, enhancing transparency and trust in our data processes. The position demands a strong understanding of both privacy and AI ethics principles, making it pivotal in shaping the company's future decisions in these areas.

Accountabilities

Advise on data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
Support the implementation of privacy controls and processes.
Conduct privacy risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to GDPR and other data protection laws.
Collaborate with teams to promote Privacy by Design principles.
Evaluate AI technologies and assess related privacy risks.
Provide training and guidance on privacy and AI ethics.
Communicate complex privacy concepts effectively to various audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data privacy and protection.
Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant fields is an asset.
Professional certifications in data privacy (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are desirable.
Strong background in GDPR compliance and data protection frameworks.
Knowledge of AI ethics and risk management principles.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
