Digital Marketing Manager

Marketing Direction | B2B Marketing Agency | Hands-On Execution Role

Execute paid advertising campaigns, build marketing automations, and own analytics reporting for an established B2B marketing agency (since 2009) serving professional services firms. Manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Linked In, Hub Spot, and Go High Level  for multiple concurrent clients with meaningful advertising budgets. This is a hands-on execution leadership role — you build the campaigns, configure the platforms, and deliver the results.

This is a remote-first position based in the Greater Tampa Bay area. You'll work from your home office with occasional in-person collaboration such as quarterly team meetings or client visits. Florida-based candidates preferred; open to candidates in other US states.

Responsibilities
1) Marketing Automation & CRM
  • Build and maintain workflows, sequences, and automations per strategic specifications
  • Configure CRM systems, lead scoring, and pipeline automation
  • Execute email campaigns, nurture sequences, and triggered communications
  • Integrate platforms and troubleshoot data flow issues
  • Support both client program delivery and internal demand generation

Go High Level  (primary), Hub Spot, Salesforce, Zoho, Mailchimp, Constant Contact

2) Paid Advertising Execution
  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and Linked In
  • Manage budgets ranging from small test campaigns to significant multi-channel programs
  • Execute A/B testing, audience optimization, and bid strategy adjustments
  • Deliver regular performance reporting with actionable insights
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure accurate attribution

Platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Linked In Campaign Manager

3) Analytics & Reporting
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems per strategic specifications
  • Implement tracking via Google Tag Manager
  • Execute regular reporting cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Translate data into clear, actionable client-ready reports

Platforms:
Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMrush, ahrefs, Power BI

Platform Operations
  • Own day-to-day operations of our marketing automation platform (Go High Level )
  • Provide technical ownership of project management platform (currently , with a planned transition to a new agency PM system after onboarding)
  • Enable account managers and strategists to self-serve on project status and reporting
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with vendors
  • Document processes and train team members on platform usage
Qualifications

Required:
  • 5+ years hands-on digital marketing experience — recent, active platform work (not legacy knowledge)
  • Marketing automation proficiency — hands-on experience building workflows, sequences, and automations across at least 2-3 major platforms (Hub Spot, Salesforce, Go High Level , Zoho, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Paid advertising proficiency — demonstrated hands-on experience across Google Ads, Meta, and Linked In managing meaningful budgets independently
  • Analytics skills — experience building dashboards (Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar), proficiency with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Technical aptitude — comfortable learning new platforms quickly, experience with integrations (Make, Zapier, or similar), proficiency with Excel
  • Self-directed work style — takes strategic specs and executes without hand-holding; meets deadlines consistently; communicates proactively
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field

Preferred:

  • Agency or multi-client experience
  • Go High Level  experience specifically
  • Agency project management platforms (Workamajig, Wrike, or similar)
  • PPC optimization platforms (Optmyzr, Opteo, or similar)
  • B2B professional services marketing background
  • Linked In Sales Navigator experience
  • Google Ads and/or Hub Spot certifications
  • Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for productivity
