English. This role is considered a head-office role and will be required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders across Canada where the primary business language for this role is English. As such, the successful candidate must be fully proficient in English.
Salary:  At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range: $140,000 - $190,000. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are still encouraged to apply.

Job Overview  The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the optimization and governance of technology investments that support Wawanesa’s corporate strategies and service priorities. Operating as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, the Enterprise Architect defines the architectural vision, principles, and standards shaping and governing the overall Technology landscape. The Enterprise Architect provides direct leadership to Domain and Technology Architects, guiding their work, coaching their development, and ensuring architectural decisions are cohesive, scalable, and aligned to enterprise strategy.

The role champions responsible technology adoption, partners closely with business and technology leaders, and elevates architectural maturity, enabling Wawanesa to deliver with speed, quality and scale.

Job Responsibilities   Contribute to the development and support the execution of the Information & Technology strategy to maintain alignment technology investments with Wawanesa’s strategies and priorities.
Define, publish, and maintain enterprise architecture guiding principles, reference architectures, patterns, and standards; ensure adoption through effective governance.
