Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
As a Dev Ops Engineer you will be an integral part of our technology team. You will work closely with engineers to maintain and enhance our infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Write and maintain scripts in Python for automation and infrastructure management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability and reliability of our systems.
- Document infrastructure and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with AWS services and architecture.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle
CI). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Understanding of network and security principles.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
