What You’ll Be Doing (Position Summary):

To lead the end-to-end transition of technology services from the parent organization to the India GCC, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer, integration of processes, and delivery stabilization. The role also establishes and manages a flexible resource pool to provide scalable workforce support for both transition initiatives and ongoing operations.

How You’ll Succeed (Responsibilities):

Transition Management:

- Lead planning, execution, and governance of technology transitions from HQ to India.
- Define transition playbooks, knowledge transfer frameworks, and stabilization approaches.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to align on scope, timelines, and success measures.
- Identify transition risks (knowledge gaps, attrition, SME dependency) and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on transition progress and risks.

Flex Resource Pool Oversight:

- Assemble and mentor a cross-functional, highly skilled flex pool.
- Structure the team for agility and rapid mobilization for urgent business needs.
- Collaborate with business leaders to forecast and prioritize resourcing requirements based on technology demand.
- Develop and adjust resource planning strategies in line with business growth and technology evolution.
- Track utilization, productivity, and cost-effectiveness drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of change, learning, and experimentation.

Operational & Delivery Excellence:

- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards (Agile, Dev Ops, Info Sec, compliance).
- Track and report on transition KPIs (KT completion, stabilization timelines, delivery quality, flex pool deployment).
- Establish continuous improvement processes for future transition waves.
- Drive cost efficiency in workforce planning.

People Management & Leadership:

- Lead, coach, and mentor transition managers, team leads, and flex pool members.
- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Ensure employee engagement and retention during transitions.
- Act as a cultural ambassador to align India operations with parent company values.

Experience:

12+ years of experience

Who You Are (Skills / Qualifications):

Skills:

- Education:

Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field MBA is a plus.

- Experience:

12+ years in IT/Technology leadership minimum 5 years managing large-scale transitions or global delivery ramp-ups proven experience in resource and workforce planning.
- Experience leading with global technology teams delivering large scale initiatives.
- Technical:
Familiarity with modern tech stacks, Agile/Dev Ops, cloud, and digital transformation.
- Leadership:
Strong program management, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration.

- Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and change management.
