Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled  Oracle Database and applications engineer  with knowledge of  Cloud technologies(AWS, GCP, GKE)  and hands-on experience across  Tick stack, operating systems, scripting and networking.
The role focuses on  designing, deploying, integrating, and operating scalable platforms  across on-premises and cloud-native environments.

Required Technical Skills
Database:  Oracle Database, General Database administration concepts
Web & APIs:  Oracle APEX, ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services)
Oracle Applications:  J D Edwards Enterprise One, Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle ASCP
Analytics & BI:  Oracle Analytics Server, Tableau
ETL:  Power Center
Monitoring:  TICK Stack (Telegraf, Influx

DB, Chronograf, Kapacitor)
Cloud Platforms:  AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Containers:  Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Operating Systems:  Windows, Unix, Linux
Networking:  BIND 9 (DNS/DHCP)
Scripting:  Shell, Power Shell, Python

Experience & Qualifications
3 years of experience in  Oracle Database, Analytics, or Platform Engineering
Strong understanding of  hybrid (on-prem + cloud) architectures
Hands-on experience supporting  mission-critical production systems
Ability to work across  data, analytics, infrastructure, and cloud domains

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database, APEX & API Services
Install, configure, administer, and tune  Oracle Database  environments (production and non-production)
Design, develop, and support  Oracle APEX  applications
Implement and secure RESTful APIs using  Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
Perform performance tuning, backup & recovery, patching, and capacity planning

Analytics, BI & ETL
Administer and support  Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)  including:
RPD semantic modeling
Dashboards, agents, and security
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using  Power Center
Design and publish interactive dashboards and reports using  Tableau
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across analytics platforms

Cloud & Container Platforms
Deploy and manage workloads on  AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Design and operate containerized applications on  Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Integrate on-prem Oracle and analytics platforms with cloud services
Implement cloud-native monitoring, security, and scalability best practices

Monitoring & Observability
Design and maintain observability using  TICK Stack :
Telegraf  for metrics collection
Influx

DB  for time-series storage
Chronograf  for dashboards
Kapacitor  for alerting and automation
Monitor databases, applications, OS, and cloud infrastructure
Implement proactive alerts and incident response mechanisms

Systems, Networking & Infrastructure
Administer  Windows, Unix, and Linux  operating systems
Configure and manage  BIND 9 (DNS/DHCP/Networking)  services
Troubleshoot cross-layer issues involving OS, network, database, and applications

Automation & Scripting
Develop automation and operational scripts using
Shell
Power Shell
Python
Automate deployments, monitoring, maintenance, and reporting tasks
Support Dev Ops and infrastructure-as-code initiatives

Location
Visakhapatnam, This is not a remote, work from home position.
Can provide flexibility and exceptions on timings and remote work on need basis, but the position is primarily on-site(in-office)
