The Role

This is a fully remote work opportunity. We are seeking skilled SQL Developers to join our Text2

SQL project team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on SQL experience, with the ability to understand complex data models and translate business requirements into efficient SQL code that accurately captures business context. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and data transformation solutions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring data accuracy, performance, and integrity across various platforms and projects.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on SQL development experience. Proficiency in at least 2-3 SQL dialects such as Databricks SQL, T-SQL (SQL Server), PL/SQL (Oracle), MySQL, Postgre

SQL, or other relational database management systems is essential. A strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling is required, along with the ability to interpret complex data models and ERDs. Experience translating business requirements into SQL logic, along with expertise in joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL techniques, is necessary. Familiarity with data transformation and aggregation techniques is also important for this role.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to support project requirements.
Analyze and understand existing data models and database schemas to optimize data retrieval and manipulation processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into effective SQL solutions.
Translate complex business logic into efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL code.
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of SQL implementations.
Participate in code reviews, adhere to development standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Debug, profile, and optimize SQL queries to improve performance and reduce resource consumption.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
Support testing activities, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements.

Benefits

The contract offers a duration of 12 months with an expected start date next week. The role provides a competitive net salary ranging from INR 65,000 to 70,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
