SharePoint Microsoft Developer - SharePoint Online

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced  SharePoint Microsoft Developer  with  5+ years of experience , specifically focusing on  SharePoint Online . This role is critical for driving the modernization of our existing SharePoint solutions by converting legacy applications to modern Azure Active Directory applications. We are looking for passionate developers who can join us on an  immediate to 30-day (maximum) notice period .
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development, a solid understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ), and proven expertise in migrating and transforming applications from Provider Hosted/SharePoint Add-In models to cloud-native Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead/Participate in Modernization:  Drive the conversion and migration of existing SharePoint Provider Hosted Applications and SharePoint Add-In models to robust Azure Active Directory Applications.
Develop Azure AD Applications:  Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable applications leveraging Azure Active Directory (Entra ) for authentication and authorization.
Core Development:  Develop custom solutions for SharePoint Online using C# and .NET technologies.
Azure Integration:  Work extensively with Azure services to support SharePoint solutions, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, and Azure SQL Database.
Authentication & Identity:  Ensure proper understanding and implementation of identity management using Entra  (formerly Azure Active Directory) for application security.
Troubleshooting & Optimization:  Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to SharePoint Online applications and their integration with Azure.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project delivery.
Best Practices:  Adhere to best practices for secure coding, performance optimization, and maintainability in SharePoint Online and Azure environments.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of dedicated experience  in SharePoint development, with significant focus on SharePoint Online.
Proven track record of converting or migrating SharePoint Provider Hosted Applications/SharePoint Add-In models to Azure Active Directory Applications.
Strong development background in  .NET  and  C# .
Solid understanding of SharePoint Online architecture and capabilities.

Experience with Azure cloud platform services.

Note:

This role is for a hands-on developer, and SharePoint Online Admin profiles are not suitable.
Mandatory

Skills:

SharePoint Online Development:  In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with developing solutions for SharePoint Online.
Application Conversion/Migration:  Proven expertise in converting SharePoint Provider Hosted Applications and SharePoint Add-In models to Azure Active Directory Applications.
Azure Active Directory (AAD) / Entra :  Strong hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory Applications, including their configuration, management, and understanding of Entra .
.NET Development:  Proficient in developing robust applications using the .NET framework.
C# Programming:  Expert-level programming skills in C#.
Azure Cloud Platform:  Solid understanding of core Azure services relevant to application hosting and integration.

SharePoint Framework (SPFx):  

Experience with SPFx for building client-side web parts and extensions.
