We are looking for a GCP Administrator based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a software company headquartered in Virginia, US.

• Manage and maintain GCP resources, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Cloud SQL, VPC networks, and other core services.
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing GCP organization, folders, and projects.
• Implement configuration changes, patches, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and service health across the GCP environment.
• Assist in designing and enforcing best practices for cloud architecture, cost optimization, and resource management.
• Use tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar IaC solutions to automate provisioning and reduce manual work.
• Provide internal technical support for cloud-related issues (GCP and Azure).
• Manage and troubleshoot IAM policies, service accounts, and role-based access controls, ensuring adherence to the Principle of Least Privilege.
• Support developers operational teams with GCP tooling, environment access, and general cloud usage.
• Assist in the integration of GCP with existing Azure environments as needed.
• Participate in the evaluation and deployment of tools that enable cross-cloud visibility and management.
• Monitor for security vulnerabilities and implement remediation steps.
• Support compliance audits and cloud governance initiatives.
• Design and provision the secure, scalable infrastructure required for AI/ML workloads using Vertex AI.
• Establish a secure data foundation for ML models, including setting up Cloud Storage buckets and Big Query datasets, ensuring proper encryption and access controls.
• Implement controls for Vertex AI resources to prevent data exfiltration and ensure model artifacts are protected.
• Prepare the environment for the deployment of cutting-edge Generative AI models, such as the Gemini family (e.g., Gemini 3/Gemini API on Vertex AI), by configuring necessary services and securing API access.

• Advanced Level of English.
• 5+ years of experience administering Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Big Query, and IAM.
• Familiarity with Generative AI models and APIs, with the ability to configure and secure deployment environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML workflows, model deployment, and infrastructure for scalable ML workloads.
• Strong understanding of GCP IAM, VPC networking, compute services, storage, and monitoring.
• Experience supporting internal teams with cloud-related troubleshooting and configuration.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure environments (Azure AD, VMs, networking, storage), especially in hybrid or transition scenarios.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Ability to write basic automation scripts (Python, Bash, or Power Shell).
• GCP certifications (Google Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical users.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
