Overview:
We are seeking a U.S.

-based Senior Solutions Engineer & Consultant to join our dynamic Solutions Engineering & Design team. In this remote role, you will be instrumental in shaping next-generation automation solutions for order fulfillment and warehouse operations by leveraging the full breadth of the Grey Orange technology suite. You will play a key role in supporting our North American commercial teams, collaborating closely with customers, system integrators, 3PL partners, and internal teams across hardware, software, and product development.

A strong background in data analytics, solution design, supply chain and warehouse operations, and experience within retail and eCommerce verticals is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a subject matter expert in aligning customer operations and business needs with Grey Orange’s automation and software solutions
* Lead site visits, discovery workshops, and customer-facing presentations throughout the pre-sales and solutioning process
* Collaborate with Sales, Product, Solution Design, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to craft tailored, high-impact solutions
* Prepare accurate and timely deliverables for sales pursuits, including data analysis, AutoCAD layouts, solution modeling, BOMs, and proposal materials
* Collect and analyze customer data to inform solution design; translate data insights into clear visualizations to guide stakeholders
* Apply MOST methodologies to create engineered labor standards and productivity targets based on Grey Orange technologies
* Develop and deliver simulation models to validate proposed solutions and ensure alignment with customer KPIs
* Use industry-specific knowledge to build compelling business cases and ROI models tailored to verticals such as retail, eCommerce, and grocery
* Partner with Product Management and R&D to influence future solution offerings, tools, and technology roadmaps based on market feedback and customer needs
* Represent Grey Orange at trade shows and industry events, providing thought leadership in key market verticals

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
* 4–8 years of relevant experience in solution design, supply chain consulting, 3PL, industrial engineering, material handling, or warehouse automation
* Strong proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and presenting data-driven insights
* Experience designing or optimizing warehouse operations and labor standards using MOST methodology
