We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our Core 3 account team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high‑growth potential accounts and partnering with our vertical teams on financial‑tech vendors. The role will focus on delivering results to the company and providing the best possible customer experience to our valued clients. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver customized market‑intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure.
Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients in the IT and technology sectors across all IDC product lines.
- Deliver the best possible customer experience to our clients daily.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand the current revenue base.
- Understand client needs and challenges and match them with appropriate research solutions from IDC.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and accurate forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of value‑based selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
- 100% remote work.

The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, ranges between $155,000 – $165,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
