Overview
Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI), the national voice of the plumbing fixture and fittings manufacturing industry, is seeking an energetic, driven, and tech‑savvy professional to join our team as Digital Services Manager
.
This newly created position plays a key role in enhancing the digital experience of PMI members by managing online education and events, supporting membership systems and data, and serving as a primary point of contact for member support. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, collaborative, detail‑oriented, and passionate about using technology to help members connect, learn, and succeed.
Key Responsibilities Webinars, Online Education & Events- Plan, schedule, and host member webinars, virtual meetings, and online training sessions.
- Provide technical support to presenters and participants before and during live sessions.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteer leaders to develop, manage, and post online educational content.
- Track participation metrics and prepare reports to evaluate engagement and effectiveness; assist in tracking social media engagement metrics.
- Provide on‑site technical and logistical support for in‑person meetings and events, including the annual conference.
- Build and manage event and program registrations within the Association Management System (AMS – Membee).
- Generate reports, lists, and data extracts to support membership marketing, communications, and outreach.
- Serve as the primary troubleshooting liaison for the AMS platform and the lead contact with AMS customer support.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date member records in the AMS.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone and email.
- Assist members with navigating online tools, updating profiles, and accessing digital resources.
- Support staff in implementing new technologies that enhance the member experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital and social media engagement, streamline processes, and expand and support digital marketing and social media efforts.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in association management, customer service, digital event coordination, or a related role.
- Experience coordinating virtual or hybrid events, webinars, or online meetings.
- Proficiency with association management systems (Membee preferred), CRM tools, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, GoTo Webinar, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and best practices (Linked In, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Substack).
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to exceptional member service.
- This is a remote work position with occasional travel (e.g., Annual Conference).
