The hiring salary for Senior Business Analyst is $93,757-$104,175. The Business Intelligence department seeks a Senior Business Analyst (Systems) with a systems-focused mindset to uncover, document, and connect the Authority's application landscape to support coordinated decisions. This role sits at the intersection of Business Intelligence and Information Technology & Services, bridging system understanding, data awareness, and business process clarity across the organization.
This position serves as a central point of insight into how systems are used today, taking inventory of applications, understanding interactions, and documenting where critical data lives. By translating knowledge into clear, usable documentation, this role helps build shared understanding of the technology environment. It supports stronger decision-making by reviewing RFPs and vendor proposals through a systems-awareness lens and by developing an understanding of data structures, data quality, and system relationships.
While the role works with other BI disciplines and supports reliable reporting, it focuses on business process documentation, sustainable system maintenance, and systems analysis. It does not include report development, dashboarding, or routine data visualization responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is analytical, inquisitive, and resourceful, with organizational awareness to ask the right questions at the right time. This role offers the opportunity to work across departments and create lasting clarity to strengthen how the Authority operates in the future.

Identify, document, and maintain an inventory of enterprise and legacy systems, including purpose, ownership, integrations, and key dependencies - Systems Analysis & Alignment:
Analyze how applications, integrations, and processes work together to support operational, compliance, and business needs; identify gaps and opportunities - Data Structure & Quality Awareness:
Understand system data structures, data flows, and data quality considerations to support reliable reporting and long-term system sustainability - Requirements & Process Support:
Gather and document business and system requirements, process flows, and use cases for system enhancements, replacements, or integration efforts - Testing & Validation Support:
