The SAP MM Consultant will be responsible for delivering expert-level support, configuration, and optimization of SAP Materials Management processes. With 5+ years of experience, this role ensures efficient procurement, inventory, and logistics operations while partnering with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to drive operational excellence.

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP MM implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP MM functional solutions.
• Configure core MM components including Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Vendor Management, Release Strategies, and Invoice Verification.
• Ensure strong integration with related modules such as SD, FI, PP, WM, and QM.
• Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and coordinate defect resolution.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation: configuration guides, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
• Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams to design enhancements, interfaces, BAPIs/IDocs, and custom developments.
• Support master data governance for materials, vendors, purchasing info records, and source lists.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, recommending best practices and optimization opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP MM.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory flows, and purchasing operations.
• Experience in SAP ECC or S/4
  
  HANA environments (S/4
  
  HANA preferred).
• Solid understanding of cross-module integration (SD, FI, PP, WM, QM).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in global, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.

• Experience with Advanced MM functions in S/4
  
  HANA (Fiori apps, MRP enhancements, Simplification Items).
• Familiarity with EDI, IDocs, and third-party system integration.
• SAP MM Certification.
