Account Manager

The ZAP Group is a boutique, women-led marketing agency based in New Jersey, and we’re looking for a seasoned Account Manager to join our growing team.

This role is for someone who has 5+ years of agency experience, can confidently run client meetings, manage accounts end-to-end, and serve as a true strategic partner - not just a project manager.

You’ll be trusted to own client relationships, lead conversations, and keep work moving across multiple accounts, while collaborating closely with a highly capable creative and social team.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for multiple client accounts
• Lead client meetings independently and drive productive, organized conversations
• Manage timelines, scopes, and deliverables across active projects
• Translate client feedback and goals into clear direction for internal teams
• Review, QA, and approve client-facing work before it goes out
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounts and improve results
• Keep clients informed, confident, and excited about the work
• Support planning and execution across all mediums
• Attend NJ-based client meetings, workshops, and events as needed
• Have 3-5 years of experience at a marketing or advertising agency
• Are comfortable owning accounts and running meetings on your own
• Know how to balance strategy, execution, and client service
• Are extremely organized and calm under pressure
• Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally
• Can manage multiple clients without dropping details

• Remote / work from home
• Must be located in New Jersey
• Same-day travel within NJ required occasionally
