Our client is seeking one (1) highly motivated and capable Project Manager who will assist in evaluating customer needs and managing various cross-functional projects.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in change management to lead and execute projects that drive organizational transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.
Our client has projects that are mapping out to2028, requiring PM resources to support them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders on assignments todefine the scope and magnitude of desired initiatives.
- Gather key, understandable requirements to meet project activities.
- Secure appropriate resources and establish a feasible timeframe/schedule to complete the work.
- Monitor, manage and maintain day-to-dayproject activities and resource plans.
- Follow existing and/or establishappropriate change control processes to ensure work goes from Development to Testing to Production.
- Communicate with appropriate parties onproject needs, progress, issues, risks and outcomes.
- Successfully manage projects to completion.
- Provide Change Management supportservices to ensure adoption is at its utmost – communication, documentation,and training to end-users.
Duration :
The anticipated duration of thisengagement is long term.
Start Date: March 2 nd or before.
Location: Madison, WI. Candidates local to WI arepreferred. Remote work may be a possibility. They must live in the US and be able to work in the Central Time Zone.
Interview: Microsoft Teams interview. Interviews expected during the second week of February.
RequirementsQualifications (Must-Haves to be successful):
- 7 - 10 years of skills as a Project Manager.
- Experience in both current state andfuture state of an organization.
- Experience in Higher Education as a Project Manager.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Well-developed skills with virtualfacilitation, interest and requirement gathering, schedule tracking tools suchas Mural, Padlet, Microsoft Office suite (Visio, MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint,and Word).
- Experience working with technical leadsto understand technical specifications, impact on existing environment/work and performing Business Case development and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and rough order magnitude type estimating to guide decision-making.
- Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent conceptual, problem solving,and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently or as amember of a team on complex tasks.
- Demonstrated competency in documentingsolutions for both technical and functional audiences.
- Demonstrated experience working with the Prosci ADKAR® Model.
- Work effectively with demandingend-users, solicit key requirements (must-have) and, in partnership with othertechnology services and business partners, formulate feasible/cost-effective solutions to meet business needs.
