Data Analytics Associate

NOTE:

Azurite is hiring a high-performing Data Analytics Associate to handle survey programming, generate insights, optimize workflows and strengthen our programming capabilities.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the Jersey City office 3 days per week (2 days during summer) to collaborate and work side-by-side with the team.

About the Role

The core initial responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Design, program, manage and deliver web-based surveys
• Actively manage and investigate live survey data to ensure respondent quality and accuracy
• Independently test and optimize survey scripting, maintenance and client delivery
• Expand Azurite’s survey/programming capabilities, processes, IP and survey-related strategy
• Build relationships with clients while providing regular data updates
• Analyze data to identify trends and insights that drive client decision making
• Proactively identify optimizations and opportunities for automation across our technology stack
• Collaborate proactively with the consulting, marketing and technology teams to develop and deliver services
• Develop relevant analytical skills in finance and consulting to streamline project delivery and drive client impact

• Deep interest in joining a boutique primary research consulting firm with a ‘start-up’ mentality and to be part of the team that focuses on and enables ambitious growth
• Educational degree or certification in a related field, or 1-2 years  related work experience equivalent as a data analyst, business intelligence, demonstrating quantitative, technical and analytical acumen.
• Must have working experience with:
• data visualization/dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or relevant Python packages)
• statistical methods (basic correlation/covariance analyses)
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency with Excel
• Requires presence in the Jersey City, NJ office 3 days a week
