Aboutthe role
We need a Business Technology Manager who has experience advising CIOs and CTOs and steering technology transformations. You’ll have a history of successful IT strategy, IT operating model design, cloud transformation or enterprise architecture roadmaps that have involved improved IT’s ability to deliver business outcomes. You will have a proven record of growing client relationships through developing solutions and improvement initiatives that solve business challenges, and leading teams in strategy and transformation engagements.
Keyexpectations from this role include:
- Lead client engagements by advising CIOs and CTOs on IT strategy and technology transformation to enhance IT’s delivery of business outcomes
- Define and evaluate operating model design options with client teams to select and implement the best‑fit solutions for digital operating model transformation programs
- Develop multi‑year digital transformation roadmaps supported by evidence‑based business cases to guide client initiatives
- Identify operational and delivery process improvement opportunities using benchmark data and best‑practice concepts to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with senior and management teams to facilitate adoption of new ways of working and behavioral changes essential for transformation success
- Manage large stakeholder groups throughout all stages of transformation and digitalization, from strategy design to implementation of transformation plans
- Lead and contribute to business development activities including proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches, and event hosting to grow client relationships
- Internal contribution – campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offer development
- Learning and development – training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
- Experience working in a major consulting firm or in industry with a consulting background
- Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organization and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
- Experience driving strategic digital technology advisory engagements
- Experience leading work streams of large‑scale digital transformation programs
- Experience designing digital and product‑led operating models
- Experience developing digital‑technology transformation roadmaps and business cases
- Experience performing IT assessments
- Broad knowledge of digital technology trends such as Agile at Scale, Dev Sec Ops , cloud computing, and digital architecture
- Participation in internal initiatives such as campaign development, think tanks, whitepapers, practice development, recruitment, and team events to support organizational growth
