Senior Devops Engineer - Remote

Compensation
$110K - $125K per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and optimization of Dev Ops practices, tools, and processes
• Drive the adoption of Dev Ops principles and best practices across the team and organization
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address bottlenecks and challenges in the software delivery pipeline
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of containerized application deployments using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes and ECS
• Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS Code Pipeline and Git Hub Actions
• Manage and optimize the use of code repositories using tools like Bit Bucket and Git Hub
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, and AWS CDK
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and security solutions for applications and infrastructure
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other Dev Ops engineers and cross functional teams
• Contribute to the documentation and runbooks of processes, procedures, and best practices related to Dev Ops practices
• Continuously improve Dev Ops practices and processes to align with industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Represent the Dev Ops team in cross functional meetings and strategic planning discussions

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, software development, system administration or related field
• Extensive hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), container orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, ECS), CI/CD tools (Code Pipeline, Github Actions, Bamboo), IaC (Cloud Formation, Terraform, CDK)
• Deep understanding of Dev Ops principles, practices, and their implementation across the entire software delivery lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools/best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
• Ability to drive strategic Dev Ops initiatives and represent the team at executive levels
