Quality Assurance Engineer-C# and Visual Studio

This ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of software solutions to the largest business service franchise network in the world. We are looking for motivated, self-directed people who are capable of leading the delivery of applications to end users in the Home Office, Franchise Network and customer community.
This position reports to the Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Manager. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures, apply proven methods to develop and design appropriate test strategies and take a lead role in the development and implementation of test automation on large projects.
This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in support of documenting system requirements. This includes creating test plans, test procedures, test automation scripts and requirements traceability documentation to ensure that systems are built to specification.
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for mentoring the QA team, improving processes and procedures exercised during QA efforts, maintaining good working relationships with non-technical clients, and providing guidance, leadership and visibility on QA team projects and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
- Must possess well-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of scripted testing (C#) using Test Complete and Visual Studio
- Use standard test methodology, to develop, document and execute software test plans, including system, regression, performance and stress testing for new products and product enhancements. Provide time estimates from completion of project tasks and status reports to Management.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Relevant technical and business work experience as a QA/Test Engineer. Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of scripted testing (C#) using either Test Complete or Visual Studio.
- Strong SQA methodology and process experience.
- Experience with Object Oriented Design, Service Oriented Architecture and multi-tier environments.
- Defect tracking and configuration management experience.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
- Must possess well-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- BS-Computer Science, MS preferred
- C# scripted testing-Test Complete or Visual Studio
- Multi-tier environments-Object Orientated Design or Service Orientated Architecture
6+ month-contract position
